The History of Kraaifontein
|
|
Following ten years of planning and hard work, the committee of Kraaifontein could finally share in the community-felt joy when they completed the building work in September 2001. The Shelter is managed by a committee drawn from the local community. This committee has built important relationships with other service providers and businesses in the area. The Kraaifontein Shelter accommodates 60 persons in two dormitories housing 40 male and 20 females. The first resident was admitted on 29 September 2001.
