Help Restore Dignity, Comfort, and Hope
This Mandela Day 2026, The Haven Night Shelter invites individuals, schools, churches, businesses, and communities to stand together for people experiencing homelessness.
Behind every shelter bed is a person longing for safety. Behind every missing locker is someone with nowhere secure to keep the few belongings they own. Your support can help restore not only comfort, but dignity and hope.
A simple donation of R67 can make a life-changing difference.
Your contribution can help provide:
A secure locker for a shelter resident
A comfortable mattress for safe, restful sleep
About the Campaign
Why 67 Days?
Inspired by Nelson Mandela’s 67 years of service to humanity, the 67 Days of Giving campaign is a call to action for South Africans to uplift those who need it most.
For 67 days, we are working to provide essential items across our shelters — items that offer privacy, comfort, safety, and a renewed sense of self-worth to vulnerable individuals rebuilding their lives.
Every act of kindness helps someone feel seen, valued, and cared for.
