Help Restore Dignity, Comfort, and Hope
This Mandela Day 2026, The Haven Night Shelter invites individuals, schools, churches, businesses, and communities to come together and make a meaningful difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness.
Every day, vulnerable men and women arrive at our shelters carrying more than just their belongings — they carry fear, uncertainty, and the hope for a better tomorrow.
Behind every shelter bed is someone longing for safety.
Behind every missing locker is someone with nowhere secure to keep the few possessions they still call their own.
But change is possible.
And it is in your hands.
Your support can help restore not only comfort, but dignity, security, and hope for those rebuilding their lives.
A simple donation of just R67 can lead to something life-changing.
Your contribution can help provide:
A secure locker for a shelter resident
A comfortable mattress for safe, restful sleep
Because restoring dignity starts with all of us.
About the Campaign
Why 67 Days?
Inspired by Nelson Mandela’s 67 years of service to humanity, the 67 Days of Giving Campaign is a reminder that each of us has the power to uplift another person.
For 67 days, we are working to provide essential items across our shelters — items that bring privacy, comfort, safety, and renewed self-worth to individuals rebuilding their lives after homelessness.
Every act of kindness matters.
Every donation matters.
Every helping hand matters.
Because hope begins when people choose to care — and it is in our hands to make that happen.
